Raquel Meyers: Useless Yet Crucial (DVD)
So I'm a couple of months late with this one, but-uh.... Raquel Meyers released a DVD of her past years of work. Great to see hi-quality pixel freshness on a big screen with this. I've worked together with her since 2004, so it includes plenty of my music. There also music from e.g. tr1c3 (Raquel's grindcore band), La Belle Indifference, Tubular Balls, Jellica, Bubblyfish, etc. There are also remixes of the videos by C-Men, Ioeb, No Carrier, Outpt + Paris and more. New releases at Datastorm
I released some stuff at the Göteborgian demo-party Datastorm. As Goto80 I made Linkan (C64-song - darkish electro(nica)dub-tronica), Dubskvaller4 (wonky reggae-funk Amiga-song), Acid Burger (C64-demo, PETSCII and acid glitch) and all episodes of Bit För Bit (video). I may or may not have contributed to "the worst C64-demo ever", SNPFCT3, Sommarfunk, Command Center and something by Christer Ganjabladh. No hits this year - strictly anti-1337!
Also, Jucke performed a DJ-set with C64-music (w/ Seratos), which includes several songs by me. Recommended!

Crackbits Retrospectz

This weekend, the new edition of the Playlist exhibition starts in Brussels. I feel almost over-represented as I've contributed to exhibited works by James Dingle, Entter, Raquel Meyers, Mats den Andre, Erik Nilsson, Boogerlab and also in Rosa Menkman's video with music made under the name Extraboy. Still, it seems to be a great exhibition. See it now! Also, there's three live-shows coming up, with visuals by Raquel Meyers and a hacker-jam-workshop thing at a hacker space in Malmö.

June 19 @ Hacknight #2, Malmö, se. Me and Glenn Again will improvise with Defmon and other secret C64-softwares, but also make a workshop entitled "Beyond bleep-blop: C64 as music monster". Sign up for it here.
