Algorave at Algomech, Sheffield, November 11
The Robot Music project that me and Jacob Remin are doing will make an appearance at the Algorave at the Algomech Festival in Sheffield!
Two Commodore 64s play music. One is operated by a human, the other by a robotic arm. The robot makes melodies, modulates sounds and rhythms, and re-arranges songs on its own, occasionally conducted by a human. The robot also uses other hardware. Meanwhile, the first C64 is operated by a human who has nothing prepared, and who has to make all the sounds and arrangement on the fly.
8bitklubben, Copenhagen, August 23
Tomorrow I'm showing a new robot music project I'm working on together with Jacob Remin. It's at CPH loves Chipwrecked at 8bitklubben in Copenhagen, at the amazing Illutron boat where me and Jacob did a residency last week. Expect to see more of this project in the future, but for now I'll just leave you with a little gif of this:
Dangerous and Spontaneous Technology
At Lydgalleriet in Bergen right now: ‘Dangerous and spontaneous technology’ by Jacob Sikker Remin and Raquel Meyers. I wasn't really involved in this manifestation of the project. But it builds on our previous fax adventures from Click, Transmediale and Demoteket. It's part of Sonic Game Space that also involved Marieke Verbiesen and others.

Memoblast
We were invited by Transmediale to make a new version of our fax performance (also check the book). This time we will do it an office setting, working more with e.g stamps & typewriters. -> MEMOBLAST!
